Kwik Kar Filter Replacement Services
Your vehicle depends on clean, efficient systems to run its best—and filters play a big role in making that happen. At Kwik Kar, we offer full-service filter inspections and replacements to help keep your car running smoothly, efficiently, and cleanly from the inside out.
Over time, your car’s filters can become clogged with dirt, debris, and contaminants, reducing your vehicle’s performance. Replacing filters at the recommended intervals helps ensure optimal engine performance, fuel economy, and emission control. Our filter replacement services include car air filters, oil filters, fuel filters, and diesel fuel filters.
Why Filter Replacement Matters
Over time, clogged or dirty filters can restrict airflow and cause your engine to work harder than it should. This leads to:
- Reduced engine performance
- Lower fuel efficiency
- Increased emissions
- Potential long-term engine damage
Replacing your filters regularly helps maintain smooth performance, optimal fuel economy, and a longer-lasting engine.

Why does my car have two air filters?
Your car has several filters involved that keep it functional. With regard to the cabin air filter and engine air filter, both are essential for keeping your car running smoothly and comfortably for those in it. The engine air filter cleans the air entering the engine, while the cabin filter cleans the air entering the passenger compartment.
How often should you change a car air filter?
We recommend changing your vehicle’sair filters at least once a year or every 12,000 – 15,000 miles.
Do you have to change your oil filter with every oil change?
Some manufacturers recommend changing your oil filter with every other oil change. As a courtesy, Kwik Kar always changes your oil filter during an oil change. However, we believe that to keep your vehicle running efficiently, it can’t hurt to change your oil filter with each change every 3-6 months.
What’s the difference between a fuel filter and an oil filter?
The difference between the two filter types primarily lies in their purpose. Fuel filters remove contaminants like dirt, rust, and water from fuel, preventing damage to the fuel injectors and engine.
Oil filters remove contaminants from the engine oil to prevent wear on bearings, cylinders, and other moving parts. These contaminants include soot, metal shards, and carbon deposits that can be found in standard engine oil.
Another big difference between the two filters is their replacement frequency. Fuel filters typically need replacement every 20,000-150,000 miles. Oil filters are replaced more often, usually every 5,000-7,500 miles.
